Keep Judge Yery Marrero for Miami-Dade Circuit Court
Judge Yery Marrero has been a Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge since January 2019, after being elected by the citizens of Miami-Dade County. Since then, Judge Marrero has been assigned to the Unified Children’s Court where she has presided over dependency, domestic violence, and juvenile delinquency cases. Additionally, she oversees the dependency drug court, a rehabilitation court focused on the treatment of parents with addiction and mental health issues.
Before becoming a judge, Judge Marrero was a trial lawyer who was recognized as an AV Preeminent® attorney, the highest rating available for an individual lawyer. She co-founded a white collar defense firm, Marrero Bozorgi PL, which was ranked in Best Lawyers® Best Law Firms and in Chambers & Partners.

ABOUT JUDGE MARRERO
When Judge Yery Marrero was three years old, her parents fled Cuba with their family and came to the United States.
